| Motionless... sitting in this room, I'm at a loss
I try to describe my thanks for Your work upon the cross
Words escape my mind in attempting to give you praise
I try to focus on You, Jesus, but my mind is just a haze
The cloud is overwhelming while the fog is closing in
What feels like my last breath, I speak the words within
I will sing a simple song
Singing that You are good
I will give my thanks to you

Lord, You're the reason I live
So lovingly You forgive...
It may not seem like much
But Lord, this is what I can give
Distracted... the swirling buzz consumes this place
Everyone sprinting here and there just to stay in the chase
Pressures of life are the walls that shrink around me
"Work harder and longer" is the masses advisory plea
Crushing down, these burdens keep closing in
What feels like my last breath, I speak the words within

Singing that You are good

Lord, You're the reason I live

It may not seem like much

Lift me up and give me the strength to carry on
Jesus, Lord Jesus, to You my spirit is drawn
A life fully in You is the only way I'm freed

| My hope rests in the power of Jesus' blood
Cleansing my submitted heart in a rushing flood
Restored to an eternal relationship I needed
The expectations I had of Him were exceeded
Jesus did more than my imagination could see
I've been changed and taught how to love freely
My heart is new and no longer like a rigid stone
I have Jesus and I will never again be alone
Closer than a brother, He remains by my side
Leading me on this journey as my eternal guide
I will walk with Christ for the rest of my days
Thanking Him for this new heart that is ablaze

| My imagination can be so dry and bare.
Trying to envision purpose brings despair.
Lord, I need Your increase from within,
But first cleanse my heart of every sin.
Expand my vision to what You can see
To align my course flying high and free.
Mold my ways to fit with Your desire
Pressing on to move past all things prior.
Centered on the goal You put in place,
Equipped by Your Spirit to run the race.
I am blessed, showered by Your grace,
With knowledge that we will embrace.
For now living in my heart--Your home.
With You there I will never be alone.
Guided by You, I am certain of victory.
As a winner of the race, it's Your glory.
Then one day our souls will bond as one;
A forever seal that will never be undone.
In heaven to sing praise forevermore,
I can only imagine what's really in store.
Jesus, you're my only hope of expansion
To bring a vision of my eternal mansion.
Still I can wait until You come for me;
I'll then have these answers in eternity.

Continue living in Him, be incessantly restored
Establishing roots grounded in who Jesus is
Letting the whole world know that you are His
Don't be ashamed, He will give you strength
Power to walk a path of any and every length
Allow the faith He instilled within you to arise
It'll grow and mature, but faith needs exercise
Build it up, shaped in Him, like you were taught
Exposing potential, more than you ever thought
Release His power, inside you'll arise and grow
In Him, thankfulness will abound and overflow

Will you put me in a box because I look a certain way?
I've started, pressed through and completed goals
I've fought battles that have lost and saved souls
These things shape my character and who you see
Still I am defined, created and saved by the Lord
He is what makes me... me.
I am not defined by you
Not by the way my adidas walk
Nor by the way I stumble when I talk
I am defined by the Lord
He is my creator, my savior and friend
I will look to Him, my source of life, to the very end!

Not by the accomplishments I have done
Nor by the battles I've lost and others I've won
I am defined by the Lord
He is my love, my life's very source
I will look to Him, to guide me on life's course...
